We take great care in choosing our guides, aware of how much of an effect they have on your safari. Be it our co-founders, Matt or Will, or one of our expert guides we are happy to work with some of the best photographers and guides in the industry.

  • William Fortescue

    Armstrong Fortescue co-founder, Official Nikon Creator, 15 international photography competition awards, first class degree in Marine and Natural History Photography.

    At the heart of all Armstrong Fortescue’s photography safaris, William has spent the last decade on safari or studying wildlife photography.

    Renowned for his black and white style his work is on display in multiple London art galleries and has raised over £130,000 for varying wildlife and humanitarian charities.

    Will splits his time between running Armstrong Fortescue and his own photography, is based in Highbury, London and will otherwise be found playing any kind of sport he can.

  • Graeme Purdy

    Sony World Photography Awards Runner-Up (Twice)

    A man with a real eye for the extraordinary Graeme’s work has seen him feet from some of the planet’s most exciting wildlife. A multiple award winning photographer, including second place (twice) in the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards. Graeme’s focus on black and white photography as well as prioritising quality over quantity of images makes him a fantastic addition to our guiding team.

  • Matt Armstrong-Ford

    With over a decade of experience in the safari industry, Matt now specialises in highly exclusive wildlife expeditions around the world. From the plains of Africa to the jungles of India or the remote northern most wilderness of the Arctic circle, Matt has gained a reputation as one of the leading private guides in the industry and regular photographic contributor to the ‘Remembering Wildlife’ book series, one of the most successful conservation fundraising initiatives around.

    His passion for wildlife and experience as a naturalist, combined with his expertise in photographing some of the most iconic wildlife around the world ensures you stand the best chance of coming away with the shots you have long dreamed of. With Matt’s “wildlife first” approach, not only will you create incredible images but also enjoy a truly authentic wildlife experience and memories that will last a life time.

    The word expert is used liberally these days but when it comes to photography in this complex part of the world there is no one better placed.

    Behzad believes he may have the most extensive snow leopard image collection ever created from his work across the Himalayas, taken by hand and with high-tech camera traps.

    Be it tigers, snow leopards, people or landscapes Behzad is exceptionally placed to deliver a first rate safari.
