Swahili for ‘endless plains’, the Serengeti is one of Africa’s largest national parks and comfortably one of the top safari destinations.
Following Will’s success in Wildlife Photographer of the Year with an image taken at Namiri Plains in the Eastern Serengeti, we have decided to launch our first group Serengeti photo safari. Utilising low angle game viewing vehicles our group of six guests will go in search of lion, cheetah and leopard in the quest to create the ultimate big cat image portfolio, with plenty of in camp image review sessions to ensure you go home with the photographs you came for.
Overview
Famed for its rugged rock kopjes dotted across the landscape, image potential around Namiri Plains is limitless. Whether it’s waiting for big cats to climb atop the rock kopjes or following them hunting across the plains there is so much to see and photograph here.
Our days will be spent maximising our time on safari - getting out before sunrise and often back well after dark, with ample time between safaris to edit our images and run group image discussions, something we find guests (and we) get so much out of.
This is a new Armstrong Fortescue itinerary and full details will be released in early 2025. If you would like to register early interest you can find a form below to do so and we look forward to welcoming you in 2026.
