Known locally as the Valley of the Leopard, we’ll eat our safari hats if you can’t work out why within a day of arriving in South Luangwa.
We find the more guests we send to Zambia the more we wish we were back there. Something about the country grabs a hold of you and will not let go and so, following private and group safaris throughout Zambia in 2024 we have decided to launch a new South Luangwa itinerary for 2025.
Overview
Armstrong Fortescue co-founder’s Will and Matt will be your guides for this trip. Matt used to live and work in South Luangwa so is the perfect lead guide for the trip, while Will’s recent success in Wildlife Photographer of the Year means he’ll be on hand to offer high quality photography and image editing tuition throughout.
Days will be spent following the famous local leopards, with Shenton’s phenomenal local guides takins us out in open topped Land Rover’s each day. There are also multiple eye level hides to make the most of, including one in our recently refurbished camp, Mwamba, that we’ll have exclusive use of throughout the safari.
